DENTAL PRACTICE OFFICE MANAGER 

$1000 Sign on Bonus!

We are an established  private practice located in Park City, UT focusing on high-quality General Dentistry. Our practice is seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager to join our wonderful team. The position requires a highly motivated and inspirational leader who will help take our team to the next level of patient care. Candidates must show enthusiasm, dedication, professionalism, compassion, a deep sense of empathy, excellent communication & time management skills, and be team-oriented to provide our patients with the absolute BEST service dentistry can offer.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a dental office (emphasis on general dentistry preferred)
  • Comfort and Confidence speaking to patients about their financial needs
  • Strong written, verbal and patient service skills
  • Experience & knowledge of dental insurance coding and claims processing/reimbursement; Working knowledge of dental billing and insurance protocols/CDT codes and definitions
  • Dental terminology
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping/line item accounting
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Dentrix and/or Dentrix Ascend
  • Ability to multi- task efficiently and prioritize, in a busy environment
  • Excellent patient service and leadership skills
  • Patient-focused
  • Energetic AND critical thinking to problem solve

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all departments of the practice are supported in their positions.
  • Develop an effective team of dental professionals
  • Responsible for the achievement of production, collection and new patient goals
  • Responsible for training of team members
  • Custodian of petty cash and business property
  • Work in tandem with primary doctor to implement process for best practice and patient experience
  • Monitor and proper staffing for office efficiency, review approval of time cards bi-weekly
  • Perform all administrative duties alongside practice admins
  • Understanding of organization flow and how to direct employees for employment questions
  • Manage the flow of information from the practice to the support office
  • Plan and facilitate team meetings monthly
  • Plan and facilitate activities/contests to keep team engaged and morale high
  • Basic understanding of marketing processes and measuring ROI
  • Familiarity with 3rd party finance options such as Care Credit
  • Financials: Participate in making financial arrangements in accordance with practice guidelines.
  • Assisting patients in understanding their insurance coverage, financing, collecting of money and scheduling of treatment, with an eye to minimize the amount of balance-billing needed in the practice
